Cook and his staff built recruiting machine unamatched by any other program in nation - now with NIL advantages on top of everything else. NU going to get the #1 class a majority of years ... https://godigred.com/commits/

But, Cook has built an assistant coaching staff which has TREMENDOUS experience at this level ... Kelly Hunter & Jordan Larson are of course going to get the attention of their players given their Husker legend status but also because they can teach them the high level, nuanced things that must be developed to win at this level ...

But, Hunter is showing to be a brilliant hire by Cook ... who of course knows just how high IQ she is about the game & a genius in the classroom to match ... our setting this year has been remarkable & you can even see the little things like Bergen Riley dumping the ball over the middle of the net when the opponents get pushed back because our attack is terrifying - but, she is playing the position like a QB & the team is able to flow from all angles & use their immense athleticism to throw lasers from the back row - just not fair - and of course go to both sides of the net to find space to attack ...with group of athletes capable of taking over entire matches

And Larson is perhaps the best VB player of all-time, got to be able to help with so much about everything - from tactics to S&C to life skills

Oh, and Reyes is suppsoedly a VB savant & absorbs any and all strategic developments across the entire VB landscape while also being a maniacally smooth recruiter & closer ... Cook said Reyes has taught him all sorts of defensive strategies and ideas from the male VB side & Huskers have the type of athletes to utiilize those types of tactics in the women's game & we are seeing it with the Husker defensive approach and effectiveness showing to be one of the best of all time.

End of the day - I HAVE to think Cook wants at least one more title before he considers passing the baton - he seems hungry to do more than that - on and off the floor

This could be that special kind of seaason if the team keeps the defense up & remains healthy
