Tbis is not a shot at ypu OP..pls don't take it the wrong way...but are my eyes the only ones that glaze over when another post is made about conference alignment and who should be in what division? ...as well as the never ending beat the dead horse about how the playoffs sbould be and how they determine wbo should get in?

Silliness. The goal is to eliminate the never were/never will be teams. Why split funds with them?

Our beloved Huskers are drifting ever so closer to never will be teams. I think the real issue will be when the BIG 10 can no longer foot the bill and the SEC moves far enough ahead in revenue sharing that OSU, Michigan, Penn State, USC, UCLA, Wisconsin decide to leave. Why can't college football survive with a 30 team division elite system like professional? In this scenario Nebraska would almost guaranteed be cut out of the top division and any chance for a championship.
