I don't understand the backlash that everyone (especially the media) seems to have against Moos and the Tim Miles situation. Moos has said on many occasions that he won't discuss, nor does he believe in any coaching changes until after the team's season is over. Nebraska's season isn't over, and Bill is holding true to his word.

At the same time, everyone knew that it was NCAA or bust for Tim Miles. When it became obvious that Nebraska wasn't going to make the tournament, Moos started his coaching search. Waiting until after Miles was officially fired would have been a terrible decision. Moos needed to move as soon as his decision on Miles was made. He did the exact same thing when he decided Riley's fate. We know that he was vetting Frost in Philadelphia before Riley had been officially fired.

If Hoiberg really is the guy, he isn't the type of coach you get by waiting around. Moos acted quickly to get the best coach out there.
