How do I change my avatar?

I did that. Click on Avatar and then get avatar editor box. Then can't get any further. I'm missing something.

Click on Avatar. An Avatar Editor pop up box will appear. Click on Browse button under Upload new custom avatar. Navigate to your image that you wish to use. Click Open. Click Okay. Pop up box will disappear. Scroll down to bottom of screen. Click Save Changes. Cool

I finally got it to work. I was using wrong the file extension.
