Mine was after the 1987 OU game. After Kieth Jones scores a TD putting us ahead 7-0, OU go's on to beat us 17-7 in Loncoln. I was in the Coast Guard strationed in New Orleans. I had a big party at my place for the game and after it was over, to the laughter of all, I decided it would be a great idea to burn all of my husker gear, 3 hats, the boxer's I was wearing, 4 shirts and a sweatshirt.
Funniest part is, I was pretty liquored and used lighter fluid, unknowingly dribbling some across the hearth on to the carpet burning like a 2" area. We were ranked number one and OU number 2. Still one of my most painful losses as a Husker fan.
