Seems to me if it was truly player safety, they could have came out by now and explained it. The longer the silence persists the more confusing the cancelation becomes. It appears that the presidents and commissioner made their decision and thought everyone would shut up and fall in line. Now since that hasn't happened, they now have to offer an explanation and they probably don't have one. My guess is they hope to string this along and wait and see if the other conferences cancel. This will absolve them of any explanation.
