Huge for Big Ten baseball and easily should be the 3rd best conference behind the big 2.

I think there should be a 30-game schedule with conference series in early March!

It won’t take long for the left coast baseball teams to hate this conference

It would sure be great if Northwestern dropped baseball. Then there could be 4 scheduling pods:

Pacific - Washington, Oregon, UCLA, USC
Plains - Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois
Great Lakes - Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue
East - Ohio state, Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland

An even number of teams means the league schedule could expand to 27 games without it starting earlier. Play three series against your pod mates, one against a protected rival, one against another team in your rival’s pod, and two from each of the other two pods.
