News report that Dejean said that he could beat Clark one-on-one in basketball. It was pretty innocent in that he was responding to a reporter's question and as they both are about the same age and both went to Iowa, they're probably friends and frankly may have already played each other. Nonetheless, it's now a national story with people opining on it.

It's an amazing commentary on how you can be shouted down for saying the obvious, but there are people out there who actually think that she could beat him one-on-one (in a game where they're both trying). Now, I have no doubt that she would beat most males in college who are just students and would likely beat many males who played HS basketball, but Dejean is a former HS basketball star, played several years of D1 college football, and is now a freaking NFL corner.

I have nothing against Clark and am happy that she's getting what she's getting, but this issue just brought to light just how much you have to lie these days in the always (in the end) failed attempt to be universally liked. You have to say stupid crap and have ridiculous positions on issues (not only unimportant ones like this one) just to get affirmation for yourself.
