How long do time-outs last in la crosse
The 2nd pitch of the NU-Iowa game bounced into the umpire's giblets, and he took a nice long stroll. Now Iowa's starting pitcher is being tended to after catching a Palensky laser in the leg. So ailments are helping the BTN crowd not miss much action.

Top 1st

Leadoff single to CF for Schwellenbach to start the game.
A liner off the pitcher by Palensky advances Schwellenbach to 2nd but he is still thrown out at 1st.
Gunner K’s swinging.
Acker lines out to LF to end the threat.

0-0

Leadoff 8-pitch single is stranded. That Palensky shot off the pitcher's leg went directly to the 3rd baseman, he was able to get the out at 1st.

It’ll be hard to find a volunteer tomorrow with it being Easter and all. I’ll probably just have to update Twitter feeds.

BTN broadcast is about 10 seconds behind the audio.
I used to having a 40 second delay. Some I'm luvin' it.
Oh man, that's great.

There was a year (want to say either 2009 or 2010) in football when so many Nebraska football fans complained about Ed Cunningham's vendetta against Eric Martin, the Lincoln radio station (KLIN?) did a delay on their broadcast to sync with the OTA ABC broadcast when Cunningham was on the call later in the season so fans could mute the television broadcast. Quite the middle finger to ABC, I loved it.

Cross Full-Count K swinging
Altavilla G5

Sounds like they throw out Hawkeye t-shirts on strikeouts if I heard the PA guy correctly in the background.

In other news, Penn State has 12 Big Ten losses. 11 have been by 2 runs or less.

6-pitch inning for Fisher.

Iowa's starter enters the inning with 32 pitches thrown.

Schwellenbach standup double off the top of the RC wall (about 1 foo from a HR)
Palensky F9 strands Schwellenbach

0-0 M3

2 stranded through 3 turns, Schwellenbach stranded both times.

Iowa 3B Sosa has been hugging the 3B line both games and it has taken away a few hits for NU.

Talk about Schwellenbach becoming a bullpen pitcher next season, currently has some elbow ligament issues.

Hellstrom reaches on E5 throwing error, moves to 2nd
- Then an errant pitch is stopped by the foot of the umpire (unintentional), preventing Hellstrom from advancing
Acker G6 holds Hellstrom at 2nd
Watson standup RBI double to LC scorers Hellstrom
- Cross bunts through a pitch, Watson stuck between 2nd and 3rd but retreats to 2nd safely (barely).
Cross K looking
Altavilla HBP
Gomes G5

1-0 NU M4

2 more Huskers stranded, 4 total for the game.

Iowa's starter pitches are in the 87-89 range compared to 92 in T1.

3-1 Iowa E4

Wasn't tracking the pitch count, but I'd venture to guess Fisher threw almost as many pitches that inning as he threw in the first 3 innings combined.

Hallmark F9 near warning track
Schwellenbach Solo HR to left

Schwellenbach is now a triple shy of the cycle, currently 3/3 on the day

The last two HRs were each their 2nd HR of the season.
