Someone brought up the 04' TT game, which I remember vividly as that was the night I became numb to Husker blowouts. Even TT punted 3 times that game.
If our offense could have sustained drives and gained momentum it may have helped? Either way... we couldn't, didn't, stop them all night. It was an extremely frustrating game to watch especially being in prime time.
I kept hearing all week how OSU was a better matchup then Whisky...and always scratched my head. Ever since our conference move our identity has been in limbo regarding offense. Leave it to west coast guys to come in and give "run the dawgum bawl" guy his due. However, we are the poor mans version of Ohio State today. I know many will disagree, and warranted to an extent, but our line play wasn't the issue last night. Until we step into big boy Alabama and OSU land I'll take ever gawd dang 5 star reciever on the planet.
We need recruiting to improve rapidly. There was only one mismatch all night for us, and that was Cethan Carter. If we Improve on Dline and have studs at WR with a accurate QB I can see the direction...hope...We just can't let another team score on every possession again.
