1. I am not talking about wins and losses. We can play better. There is enough talent to play better. And there is definitely enough talent to make ohio state punt once! What coach watches a game like this and does the same damn thing over and over. It looked like a scrimmage out there. What harm would there have been trying different things, blitzes, different ways to set the edge, I don't know but you try something. who cares if you give up a big play. They are already scoring at will. You will see other teams, with less talent, stop ohio state a few times a game. this looks like a team that does not actually game plan for the opponent. You could put dummies out there and bound to luck into 1 defensive stop.

Offense, wilbon over ozigbo. stubborn coaches making personnel decisions that are troubling. I am a guy that would usually defer to coaches on this. But not this group for many reasons. Play calling and inability to get our talent the ball on a consistent basis.

A new coach can get more out of his players, game plan better, teach better. This may not translate to wins in losses in year one but you would be able to see it on the field.
Iowa State beats Oklahoma, Syracuse beats Clemson, many other teams, with less talent than us almost pulling off upsets and actually being in the game till the end. Do we look like a team that is even capable of upsetting a top ranked team. No. And that is coaching.

So we can see improvement in the first year and you will notice it on the field. Not in the wins and losses.

2.Please stop with the no coach will come here shit if we fire our current coach. Any decent coach would look at what is happening on the field and think: I could do better than that. We may not get a coach that is currently in a good situation - but what is that - maybe 10-20 teams. We are a program with a lot to offer. So I get pissed when people say who would come here. This is still a better job than most out there and we can pay.

3. Scott Frost - I was against Scott Frost coming here from Oregon. I like what he is doing down here in Florida. Aside from him being from NE. He has been on both sides of the ball as a player and coach. Been with some talented coaches. I don't believe UCF has had better recruiting classes than NE the last few years and UCF was 0-12, 0 and f+++ing 12. That is a dumpster fire. Any excuse you use to try and take credit away from Scott has a parallel story to NE and strengthens the reasons to get rid of Reilly. There are a handful of coaches, not many, that could be safer hires than Scott. But it is a crap shoot with most of them and Scott has just as good a chance to be the right guy as most of them. So if we find one of the few with more experience to come here I am fine. If we hire Scott, I am also fine.

Either way- I would expect to see visible results on the field the first couple years. And again, not necessarily wins and losses in year one. But tough competitiveness play, more sound fundamentally and a more thought out game plan would all start to show-as it has for his UCF teams.

We can make a change without blowing things up. And it does not have to be the end of the world. I did not expect last nights game to be close, but we lacked so much last night it is very transparent a change is needed. These kids are not getting pushed, coached or motivated.

Sorry for long Rant. Been here a long time and do not post often but am frustrated by the coaches. The kids- I will always root for them and I think they need a new coach for success.
