Anyone notice Mickey opted to play Brody Belt and Wyatt Liewer quite a bit while Frost was the head coach but little if any once he took over and the results were on him?

curious

It is an intriguing thought you have. What exactly are you implying?

No

MJ was brought here by Trev with the understanding that he would take over if Frost stumbled - it’s curious to me that MJ was playing those 2 quite a bit when Frost owned the results but those 2 have disappeared when the results are on MJ

Belts been hurt and he didn't suit up today. He got hurt in the 1st quarter last week and didn't play today. He only plays when Palmer needs a breather, and he hasn't needed any breathers lately. Liewer only plays in the 4 wideout sets and they haven't used that formation since Frost left. Omar Manning is the starter on the 4 wideout sets and Liewer is 2nd string in that formation.

Oooooh so you’re saying Mickey sabotaged Frost. Mmmmm okay.🧐

My concern is how they use the top 3 wideouts. (Palmer, Brown, and Washington). On run plays the coaches take out Palmer and leave Brown and Washington in. Presumably they are the best blocking wrs. But they do not have the ability to get open. Why not leave Palmer in over Brown? The other teams man up Brown and Washington and are able to stop the run because there is no threat of a pass. Palmer would open the running game because the safety would need to help cover him.
