Rutgers has 5 players suspended for that, and another 5 players suspended for curfew violations.

They're lucky they're playing a below-average FBS school that happens to have 11 players already set to be suspended for a big fight in the final game last year.

Is this a B1G thing, where if the other team has a lot of players suspended due to a fight we arrange to have a few of our players out too, to balance things a little bit?

And this is how a coach, already with an unwanted spotlight on him can find a quicker exit than planned. I'm not saying he will be fired, but when things start adding up, donors and university leadership make moves.
