would the minn coach fit at stanford?

not to get political but I thought fleck was pretty lib,and so is stanford...
plus they don't care about football, like they would'nt hire urban or saban, even though they have the insane money. because I hear they are more into olympic sports.

At least if he goes to Stanford Minn can go back to being garbage again.

When was that? They are the same team now they have been since we’ve been in the conference.

What will probably actually happen is they just continue on winning 7-8 games a year, but the next guy doesn’t tell you how amazing he is, so you don’t think much of it.

at 29:31 of this video it shows the kinda cash flow stanford has, and alot of other graphs in this video have them high ranked...so thats not to say minn is bad, but stanford kinda makes texas look like a welfare case..

(hopefully with all that grant money they can figure out there's 2 genders)

I know Fleck catches a lot of grief from this board, but the man can coach. His brand of coaching would work well there and in a lot of other programs throughout the country. Most people have quirks, successful people know how to use them to their advantage.

Palo Alto is really nice. It would be a great place to live if you could afford it. I don't see Fleck there, but what do I know. I could see Petersen there. If he wants to coach again, but I don't think he does.

California is a beautiful state geographically speaking but it's a lab for crazy politics that goes far beyond left or right. You are correct, Palo Alto is really nice but too expensive for most people to live there.

California population is estimated at 40 million people using up resources designed for 15-20 million and people who live here wonder why we have water shortages and power outages.

Sorry didn't mean to go off topic but as a resident of California for over 65 years I've seen the best and the worst that this state has to offer.

Stanford football usually has had solid no- nonsense coaching types. Walsh, Harbaugh, Shaw, Willingham, etc. (Stanford isn't filled with loons like Cal.). Fleck wouldn't fit in there at all.

Minnesota is still garbage. They look better than they are due to the rest of the division being so bad.

I was born in San Jose and lived until I was almost 11 in the West Sac/Davis area.

the first time I seen him,and how he dresses, I figured that guy is gay, but then I seen his wife and thought, that guy is not gay..I don't know much about him...I've turned off the tv alot the last 8 years...but I hear folks on here that talk about rowing boats (which seems ivy)..and minn is pretty lib...and he's seems to have success, kicked our ass a few times.. so I was just wondering why his name did'nt come up for stanford.

He didn't row his boat fast enough.

I watched him at Western Mich. and was impressed then. The row is just to remind players that everyone needs to pull together in unison to meet the challenges. If you don't work together you go in circles
