More offense, which it's been all fall. Outside of Schanaman & Bradford, nobody has really shined on the bump this fall, which is just the opposite of last season. Shay is close to capturing the Friday job heading in to winter break as he's been dynamic. I still prefer Perry, who's not throwing live this fall, as our Friday guy, but Shay has made it difficult.
Griff is positioning himself to be a 4-6th round guy. I believe we have more team speed now than this past season. OF is a little concerning as well, we're young & inexperienced.
Seems like Matthews will be our SS, Chick at 2b & Cervantes as the defensive specialist when needed. Gomes is expected to be 100% ready for the '22 season. Core Jackson oozes with elite potential, we need to hold on to him.
