With all this talk of sites getting shut down due to staffs leaving for competing sites, it made me think back to why I chose rivals over 247 and Scout.
There's only one real good reason for this. Familiarity. When I got stationed in Alaska away from all the husker football talk, I needed a way to stay in the know. Started shopping around for a few months and saw an article written by @Sean Callahan. Knew the name well because I used to watch Big Red Wrap-Up on PBS when I still lived with my parents. I always liked the info he had to give and recruiting news always was interesting to me.
So pretty much the only reason I chose Rivals was because Sean was an established source of information for me, and one that I trusted. Pretty glad I did, as I have friends who use the other sites and I tend to get info before they do.
What prompted you all to use Rivals?
