Who TF has Jayden Daniels winning the Heisman?

Living in Tempe area, I follow ASU and occasionally attend ASU games. He was kind of a skinny kid when he played here a couple years ago, but had high level skills. He is no longer such a skinny kid at LSU and his skills have matured. I wouldn’t bet against him in the NFL in 2024. Pretty sure he is a senior.

Interesting fact: Taylor Martinez used to play at his high school. Good players like them usually get picked off by the big high schools in Southern California such as Corona Centennial, Mater Dei, Bosco, etc.

We offered him and a bunch of his teammates out of high school when Frost was hired. I knew some of his coaches and he was a Utah commit until ASU swooped in at the last minute with their shenanigans.

He wasn't even the most talented kid on his team. They had a 6'8" WR that they were calling the next Megatron but he had some personal issues.

Dude put up freakshow stats and freakshow games.

First player in college football history to throw for 350 yards and run for over 200 yards in a single game.

In LSU's 52-35 win over Florida, he threw for 372 yards and 3 TDs, while rushing for 234 yards and an additional 2 TDs.

Only threw 4 INTs while tossing 40 TDs and rushing for 1,134 yards and an additional 10 TDs.

For comparison's sake, Eric Crouch was a running QB when he won the Heisman in 2001. Crouch ran for 1,115 yards that year in the same number of games as Jayden. And while throwing the ball 138 fewer times than Daniels, Crouch tossed 6 more INTs.

Nice to see the committee give it to the actual best player as opposed to one of the best players on one of the best teams.

Many worse than Eddie George with the snub over Tommie.

Gino Torretta
Sam Bradford
Jason White
Mark Ingram
Troy Smith
Caleb Williams

Ingram over Suh in 2009 was an absolute joke.
Now we're cooking!

I stopped watching or giving a **** about the Heisman when Suh got screwed.
Ingram was a decent back on a good Alabama team that for all their History hadn't won a Heisman up to that point So let's make our award a joke and bypass a generational talent like Suh.
As you mentioned 4th in voting? Yeah, your award is a joke.
Good for the LSU QB, but who cares.

Jason White, never understood the hoo-ha.
Caleb Williams, saw him play live, snorefest.
He could use his legs but too snooty. I think he'll be a huge bust in the NFL.

Giving it to the Oklahoma qb's year after year made a lot of people lose interest.

Woodson winning over Manning and Moss was about as bad as you could get. There are tins of examples.
