I thought Wilhite was in charge of primarily recruiting and evaluating Nebraska talent. Walk-ons, D1 potentials, etc. I doubt Wilhite gets promoted to DC.
Brain fart. My mistake. I could live with him coaching the S spot.I said S---Safeties coach, not DC
Never heard anything but Bray has been around college level coaching his whole life. His father has been a position coach and DC in college since the 70s so he is likely a lot farther ahead of other assistants his age as far as football knowledge and defensive scheming goes.I am curious why a few posters have brought up the idea of promoting Bray to DC. I have never heard anything about him wanting to be DC nor anyone talking about it prior to this week.
I am only going from memory, but he is younger than me and hasn't he only coached LBs?
