Who had Ben Brahmer scoring his first collegiate TD before Fidone?

Heard on the CU vs TCU broadcast that the Buffs may be vulnerable to a two TE set. Could this game be Fidone’s breakout game?

I'm more disappointed that it appears he wasn't targeted.

Granted, he's been injured, but would have been nice to have a few designed plays for him. Even more disappointing, to me doesn't appear to be a QB that can get the ball to him.

Our WRs and TEs have a bigger problem then their own individual talent and ability, opportunities. They’re not going to get very many. Looking like the recipe for success with this team will run the ball, posses the ball and play defense. If we’re forced to throw the ball more than 12-15 times a game we’ll probably lose.

Not many passes to the Tight Ends, non-existent fullback we were told was coming, and the strange lack of carries for Irvin. All of it is puzzling. Our one TD came on a trick play. Otherwise our offense looked anemic, out of sync, and prone to mistakes. We better get better fast or we might only win 3 games this year. But if the offense does start to gel, and Sims stop tossing interceptions, there is still hope.

My one bitch. We didn’t keep pounding the ball on them when we got up. Ervin should have had 20+ carries.

Best guess as to why Irvin was not utilized more? Unreported injury perhaps?
It’s mysterious why he wouldn’t get more touches, but there was more focus on using RB as extra blocker so Sims could have more carries.
I guess Rhule said they liked Grant for the specific play call where he fumbled. He may be slightly more dynamic than Ervin, but usually the depth chart is there because your #1 earned the carries.

Benning speculated that they wanted to give Grant a chance because we’re going to need him down the stretch. Grant May be our biggest home run threat at RB.

MN pulled one out of their ass with that false start no call and toe dragging catch on 4th and nine. Who knows. I do believe MN is going to be a good team this year but we should have won that game.
