Which team is the outlier to beat the south for a NC?

Obviously the first team on the list is Ohio State. USC lost tonight, and at this time they just don't have enough horses to win it all.

Michigan?

Ucla?

There aren't many teams beyond the above mentioned who have a chance to win it all. As Charlie Daniels use to sing, "the South's gonna do it again."

And Geezus, how in the hell does a team from James Madison get into the top 25? Well, not for very long as GS beat them tonight.

USC has the dudes on offense but as we saw tonight, they don't have a defense and the OL is suspect. They'd be shredded by the likes of Tennessee or Georgia.

UCLA probably has the best chance because they actually play physical football and have some serious athletes. Remember that beatdown they put on LSU last year?

Not convinced about Michigan yet. Impressive win for sure, but against a top SEC team? We'll have to see. Same with Ohio State. Have they played anyone yet?

James Madison beat Appalachian State, who beat Texas A&M, who beat Miami. That's probably why they were in the top 25.

They only beat South Alabama by 1 point.
UCLA should have lost that game. Luckily for them the South Alabama coach did something boneheaded near the end of the game. But to be fair South Alabama is 5-1.

I honestly don't think anyone outside Ohio State has a real chance of beating the SEC for a title. Maybe Michigan. But most likely scenario is Team SEC fans will be insufferable for another year. Lol
