"Just saw Riley and dk about Archie". What does that mean?Assumed Dubs got a suspension, just saw Riley and dk about Archie.
Thought I saw Riley the Crutch post recently. Archie not so recently."Just saw Riley and dk about Archie". What does that mean?

Your opinion. I don't miss the vitriol between warring factions but this board's information value dropped dramatically when HTO/Coach Dubs disappeared. There was nobody more plugged in to NU athletics posting on this free board with better information than HTO and that has been the case for probably the last decade that I've been on here(under a couple of different incarnations). I incurred his wrath at times but I appreciated greatly his knowledgeable information and opinion. So continue on in ignorant bliss but your feelings won't get hurt....HTO gone is the greatest addition by dubtraction the board has ever seen.
That's Pelini the crutch. Riley the crutch is 4.6.3. Gets confusing I know. Lol
Exactly. I have been on here 9 years and have never been put on vacation. I must be lagging behind. Can't believe I have never dissapeared by the way of a forced vacation. Probably needs I need to step my posting game up.

But I did not start this thread hoping to see people rag on the people I mentioned. I just genuinely wanted to know if
Well, I had my suspicions that maybe a temporary ban was involved. But I also thought maybe they had just drifted off to the pay board or just got sick of posting on here.I think you have a general idea why some that you mentioned get vacations on how they interact with certain posters.

I hope you're right. Right now I would like to hear his take on the baseball situation. I suspect he has a handle on what is going to take place after the season is over.He will be back for fall practice. Its almost like work release. He is only banned in the offseason but can “ work” in season.
There are about 10or 12 total, but most stay over on RSS. About 3 or 4 frequent the free board daily. The baseball board also has a couple mods. How many mods are there?
I know of three..

I love baseball and I wish our team had had a better showing this year. I also like Erstad so I am torn as to whether he should stay or go. So any inside info on what Moos is thinking, from HTO or anyone, would be great.I hope you're right. Right now I would like to hear his take on the baseball situation. Where have all the good posters gone?
Hanging out with @HuskerTimOmaha
Sarcasm emoji I hope was omitted accidentally. HTO was over the Pelinis about the same time I was which was about year 3 or 4 if I remember correctly. He definitely wanted him gone those last 2 years. Considering that he had a connection to Jamrog that was pretty interesting. I will say one thing about Jamrog and that is that he cared deeply about NU and he did a good job of recruiting some darned good walk ons.Yeah, HTO, wow yeah, he's still hanging out with Bo and Carl now, boy does he still love Bo.
Right now, I'll be surprised if we don't makes some staff changes. The way Erstad talked on Sports Nightly about the pitching injuries it wouldn't surprise me if we have a different pitching coach next year. Something has to change. It also sounds like some of the kids we've been recruiting have been hiding previous arm injuries to be sure they got a scholarship somewhere. I don't blame them for that, but somebody has to do their due diligence on our recruits to make sure we don't get burned by that. Personally, I'm surprised we can't find more strong armed kids hiding in the weeds of Nebraska and the Dakotas who can be developed in to college pitchers and who maybe haven't had all the wear and tear on their arms that some of these guys coming out of club teams do. Hell I remember coaching middle schoolers and umping some games and you just knew the kids who could potentially play at the college level from watching them when they were 11-13. I coached one kid for a year who's bounced around MLB for a couple of years. By the time he was 14 he had a curve ball that you could not believe. But there were a lot of other kids where the ball just sizzled when they pitched but they never went on. Most of them lost interest I guess.I love baseball and I wish our team had had a better showing this year. I also like Erstad so I am torn as to whether he should stay or go. There were some that seemed like they always wanted to start fights and earned an all expenses paid trip to Chile. A couple mods got tired of the fighting and sent a group of posters packing a couple months ago.

HTO was a HUGE cheerleader for Mike Riley also ......he practically wrapped himself into a pretzel trying to defend Smiling Mike. What's funny is almost all of his "inside info" was stuff already reported by someone else on a premium site. We've all seen guys like this - the know-it-all sitting alone on a stool at the end of the bar who can't stop yapping about himself.Yeah, HTO, wow yeah, he's still hanging out with Bo and Carl now, boy does he still love Bo.
