I wonder if thompson sparking up right after we signed sims made rhule slow down? but probably not cause he signed the ole baylor player he liked. but rhule said in his press deal he liked the current qb's..
I suspect after Sims signed, he has second thoughts about getting to be the QB and hasn't made up his mind about whether to accept a role at another position. He doesn't have to decide today. He can wait until he has to enroll in the second semester at some school. He can accept competing at another position or finding a non-P5 school that will take him as a QB.
He’s a transfer, so signing day doesn’t really matter to him. Just needs to enroll somewhere in time for the Spring semester.

I think so. Real P5 experience with a proven track record. Hornsby is incredibly raw.

Rhule stated he told himself he wasn’t going to take a lot of guys year one. He also stated Sims was someone he really liked even when he was coaching the Panthers. Loved that even other NFL coaches were telling him to take Sims.
