Let them hate all they want, we had one comming for awhile now. Remember our hose job in the Big 12 championship? We had TexAss beat and the refs threw a second on the board so TexAss had a chance to kick the field goal and win. This was worse then last nights game BY FAR. The refs seen the CB push our WR out of bounce and the replay both and officals with SLOW MO REPLAY confirmed it, the CB push our WR out of bounce. It was the right call, MSU lost the game, now its time for them to put the big girl panties on and prepare for there next opponent.

I agree, it was the right call, plus we would have scored anyway...

I just find other boards funny sometimes. they were complaining about holding too...which maybe this one they could make a case for..lol...or the guy could have ran into his arm?....

either way tommie is throwing off his back foot again!

Pictures are often deceptive with things like this. If it was a facemask or a fist full of jersey then that much is obvious but choosing an arm around some players neck as a piece of evidence makes for a weak case..

I agree,
and Im sure there are a lot of things on both sides the refs don't see.

I'll be honest If I was a Sparty fan I would be upset too..
But I'll take it as a makeup call on Moore in the end zone, the defender clearly was grabbing his left arm before the ball had arrived and we didn't get a pass interference call that could have been a TD.

You can only be upset about the call if you have a poor interpretation of it. It doesn't say a player has to be shoved out of bounds. Contact may have been minimal but it was there and the receiver was boxed out of bounds by the DB so the call was correct.

Texas has been the beneficiary of more debatable calls that go their way than any team in all of CFB history. Their fans have literally zero room to complain about anything.

Something I found interesting from the announcers of our game. On the final play when Cook threw it out of bounds and Dantonio was lobbying for a second left, they said the clock stops once the ball lands. So, in essence, since the ball was still in the air while the clock ended, the game was in fact over. Which made me think about the Big XII Championship game when a second was put back on after McCoy threw his ball out of bounds. Was the ball still sailing when the clock ended? This is interesting.

If I remember right, it hit a railing in the stands of the stadium with a wee bit of time left. Led to some discussion of how if that ball hadn't gone right to the railing, but instead was falling a little short of, a game of inches, etc.
