I've been seeing more and more #PoweredByABM on social media relating to NIL but it's impossible to figure out what they do exactly since they have virtually no digital footprint. The easy answer would be branding and marketing for student-athletes since ABM stands for Athlete, Branding, and Marketing. But, it doesn't seem to be the case considering the people running the company have 0 experience in those fields.
Is ABM simply the "unofficial" NIL student-athlete agency for the Nebraska athletic department? Are they just the middle-man between local businesses, the university, and Husker student-athletes? If so, I'd assume they make money by getting a cut of every NIL deal from the athletes they represent.
Might be an easy answer here but they seem to have a big role in Husker athletics and they are a bit secretive. I would be interested to learn more about their operation.
