I was in hopes that the current staff would show enough progress with the team that they would get more time to recruit, coach and better the program as I do like Riley as a representative of Nebraska. I feel we are short some talent and depth but do not think the divide is near as wide as what was results showed last night. Coaching made us look much worse than we are. They may be good recruiters but they don't seem to have the mentor backgrounds to coach at an elite level. I have finally lost confidence that Riley can turn it around even if he gets the athletes.
So it got me thinking what do we get with Scott Frost. We have a relationship with Scott and all have our opinions, but what kinda coaches would he bring with him. I looked at his current staff to try to get an understanding of what kind of backgrounds he looks for in the people he surrounds himself with. I was surprised, pleasantly so.

I hadn't looked at the type of people Scott would choose to surround himself with but from the outside it appears to be coaches with proven backgrounds or Walsh, Kelly, Osborne influences.
Don't know if he would be choice for next head coach but I'm encouraged if it is Scott he will surround himself with the types of coaches to give himself the best chance to be successful at Nebraska. GO BIG RED!!!!
