this is not a knock on TA. really, it's not intended to be (even if there is an obvious connection), but if we'd had a real throwing quarterback the past couple years, i truly believe Westy would have come home with that award. at least once.
it's one of the most disappointing aspects of these past couple years for me. having such unique talent as his and not being able to take more advantage of it.
only consolation for JW is i believe there are plenty of nfl scouts out there that know good when they see it. he'll be gaining first downs - consistently - for quite a while on $unday$, imho.
