I knew by the time we fired Solich that we might never get back to the top, but kept holding out hope through all the following staffs including Frost. But I think it is over now, we have been mediocre to bad for so long that we are simply off the radar of potential players now, there are too many other options that have been winning lately. But it was great seeing the glory years of the 60s - 90s. RIP Big Red.

I started following Nebraska in the late 60s while watching them with my dad. I'm glad he was able to see coach Osborne get his national championships before passing away. I don't think he ever would have believed that his beloved football program could ever sink to the shitshow depths that they are at now.
