A Husker record was broken and a milestone was reached Saturday in Memorial Stadium.

Senior wide receiver Stanley Morgan became the school record holder for career receptions, and senior running back Devine Ozigbo reached 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

Morgan passed Kenny Bell's mark when he recorded his 182nd career catch. It was his fourth of the game and came late in the fourth quarter

Ozigbo entered the game against Michigan State with 958 rushing yards. He broke the 1,000-yard mark on his 11th carry of the game. He's the first Husker to reach that milestone since Ameer Abdullah had 1,611 in 2014.

Big game from Stan next week and he can get his 1000 yard season...currently sitting at 923

Getting a 1000 yard rusher and 1000 yard receiver in a single season would be a great way to end the first season under Frost. Methinks in the future 1000/1000 players will be the norm.

IF JD wasn't hurt could have had 2 and a rusher. Hope he can go this week.

Yeah, I knew JD was close and it’s bummer he couldn’t go today. He just adds that extra wrinkle that MSU didn’t have to defend against today. Hope he’s good to go Friday because we need him bad. Give me AM, Ziggy, JD, and Morgan against Iowa and we’re in really good shape to score some points and get another good win on Black Friday.
