I won money too, but I can't imagine taking NU and giving points this year with Sims at QB. Might be another time or two to take NU and some points, but if Grant is still on the depth chart that's not even a given.I won money. Not sure I can do this for another 3 hours though. Just too much to take in as a fan.
I thought Kemp was supposed to be good. Did he catch a pass?I won money too, but I can't imagine taking NU and giving points this year with Sims at QB. Might be another time or two to take NU and some points, but if Grant is still on the depth chart that's not even a given.
Washington came alive late in the game. But most receivers were invisible. NU has to get some of that speed on the field at the WR position because we present no threat with the corps we are now using.
A bunch of 4.6 receivers wont't get it done against most teams, especially since Sims continues to be a turnover machine.
Sims couldn't have found him if he was open anyhow.I thought Kemp was supposed to be good. Did he catch a pass?
Other than punt returns, he was invisible. It's hard to throw to a 5'9" receiver with just good speed when he's double covered.I thought Kemp was supposed to be good. Did he catch a pass?
I'm doubting Fidone is the best TE on the team, let alone the country. And the fact that we're relying on a 5'9" receiver to be our best player at that position when he has no standout athletic traits shows we may be in for a rough ride on that side of the ball.Other than punt returns, he was invisible. It's hard to throw to a 5'9" receiver with just good speed when he's double covered.
Fidone was totally invisible also. He'll have to pick up the pace if he wants to win the Maxwell Trophy over the GA TE.
Sims is a big, strong kid who has only decent speed, very little quickness and tries to throw the ball with touch.
He has shit for touch. The only ball he threw with any mustard on it was the 3rd down throw to Rahmir.
He'll be baited into a lot of INT's this year. We're gonna face better DB's than Minny had.
He and Lloyd have the same speed. What about freshman Coleman. I thought he was supposed to be All World? Isn't he fast?
First time I played NU since 1983.Good for you, no way I can bet Nebraska, especially first game and all
Sims couldn't have found him if he was open anyhow.
A little too early to judge. Both suck
Too early? Season’s overA little too early to judge.
kong, that's silly. First game of their career playing for a coach who is going to start almost a 100% veteran team.Good players?
All I know is Rhule can shove his platitudes up satterfield’s asskong, that's silly. First game of their career playing for a coach who is going to start almost a 100% veteran team.
Too early? Season’s over
In college football you can’t afford to lose to jv teams and still accomplish anything of note
6-7 wins?Easy kong, season is not over by any stretch, but Rhule and company definitely have a tall task coaching around this team’s weaknesses. I think I saw a team that can still win 6-7 games, and that was probably the honest realistic ceiling for this team. Let’s stay behind these boys cause there’s still a lot of football to be played. gbr
Minny and Fleck owns us and is a consistent 9 win team now , not JV. As we all know by now if we lose the turnover and penalty battle , it's over..Too early? Season’s over

So what does that have to do with your comment on my question? All I know is Rhule can shove his platitudes up satterfield’s ass
Action only
6-7 wins?
You’re excited about this?
Jfc
Are Coleman and Lloyd good?So what does that have to do with your comment on my question?
Well, how exactly is that Coleman or Lloyd's fault that we don't have a QB that can throw the ball? Are Coleman and Lloyd good?
Maybe we’ll find out in 3 years when we have someone under center who can get it to them, assuming they’re still on the team
They came to NU to not beat out a walk on or a shrimp in an offense that can’t scoreWell, how exactly is that Coleman or Lloyd's fault that we don't have a QB that can throw the ball?
This isn't about if they're gonna be here in 3 years or not, its about your saying they both suck.
Based on what? Don't change your supposition.
Give me an example of how 2 freshman with great speed suck and have only 1 snap between them in a seaon opener and how that equates to them both sucking.
Introducing the QB into the equation isn't even relevant.
You've obviously never coached anything in your life kong. They came to NU to not beat out a walk on or a shrimp in an offense that can’t score
