We are plus 2 in turnover department!!

That was the number one thing that needed to be fixed.

Penalties......still need to fix that.

Thanks in large part to the incredibly bland play calling.....play calling that won't be any team in the top 60.
Wasn't that the plan? Play to Tommy's strengths? Run the ball? Why chuck it 50 times if you don't need to? We won by 33 points right? When its time to open it up we will open it up. No fumbles and 2 picks is a good thing. Don't see the need to find fault in every little positive thing. Geez....

I never thought of that... Good catch... Why, I bet we only play that way every single game this year. These coaches won't adjust the scheme depending on the opponent, no way! Why, I'll bet teams in the top 60 will see the exact same game plan... Yep.

Holy cow, just try, try to find a way to enjoy a 33 point win. Please. You'll feel better about things. A lot of things. Trust me.

I was NOT impressed with the attention to detail in the ball carrying department! High and tight was not seen enough and a loose bag of groceries was too common, especially by #82. I am confident that the film session will address this and it will be rectified. If it's not, the plus in the turnover category will not last.

Why not spend the time getting your new OLine to gel more when you can afford to call the game as conservatively as possible? Run it, run it, and run it some more.

All I am saying is that we won't beat Oregon, Wisconsin, Ohio State or Iowa throwing 13 passes....and you can't suddenly triple your amount of passes for those games and expect Tommy to succeed. We could have thrown at least 20 balls.

We were in a competitive game for well over two quarters with an extremely bad team. I am a realist. The offense looked pedestrian for three quarters.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm sure they will adjust accordingly as we move toward Oregon. I don't think Riley was completely enamored with how our passing game was going, and instead of working on it more during the game, I think he sort of shelved it for the evening.

I like that Riley has much greater expectations and was somewhat irritated by our performance. He knows what this team is capable of, so him being a bit pissed is a good sign to me.

Keep in mind that Fresno State is still coached by the guy that coached them to conference championships and 9-4 and 11-2 records in '12 and '13, so he would appear to be a decent coach. Who really knows how good they are this year. I would say they are probably more along the lines of an average team, not horrible. Pretty decent QB that can sling it pretty well.
