I called that this play would make a comeback earlier this week, only to a TE. Glad it went to Coleman or it probably would have been dropped.
They just need you to tell them what to do. How would you even know what is complicated first and what coaches are thinking? The option action makes the safety think run and bite down. It's not that complicated to exploit college defenses. I think coaches try to out-think themselves.
So happy for the young man. Total stud. Get him the QB he deserves.

Doss.
I thought that was Jeremiah Charles who is a burner and moved to DB?Doss isn't as fast as the other two, it was Brice Turner...must have hands issues because he got moved to CB in season

That play was repped with Malachi dozens of times over the past 2 weeks. It was designed with that WR to be the primary targetThis times 1,000,000. He's been open plenty of times this year, absolutely pathetic that it took this long for one of the ding-dong QBs to spot him.
I thought the same thing when that play happened. That safety had eyes on ONE guy on that play. HH could have tossed it to anyone on that play and he still would have got lit up by that safety. Opposing d"s know he rarely pitches so they now key on him. When they safety flew up and nailed HH on the option early I said if they run the pass off of that someone would be wide open.

Stretch the field vertically and stretch the field horizontally. Successful offensive coaches are usually able to do at least one of these two things exceptionally well. Exceptional offensive coaches exceed along both dimensions. Osborne was the master at this, and it's the secret of his success. The specific play in question accomplishes both of these things simultaneously which is why it was one of Osborne's favorite go-to plays. Other elite offenses execute the same way by stretching the field vertically and horizontally. That's why Ohio State's offense has been successful for so long. It's why Tennessee's offense was so dominant last year. They just need you to tell them what to do. How would you even know what is complicated first and what coaches are thinking?
Who's the poster that wants TO to butt out.
Turner is a track guy they are trying to turn into a fb guy. Reminds me of Riley Washington. We'll see what happens. He was raw as hell. Made guys like Lloyd and Coleman look polished. Quiet is as kept though if he has the hips to turn and run Cooper can make him something. He was always gonna be a project on either side of the ball. But 6'0-6'1 guys with 10.2 hundred speed and long arms don't grow on trees. Can't coach that. He's already an Avatar. Let's see what they can do with him

We had a similar route early in the game and HH didn’t see Doss wide open. It was I think the 2nd down call in the 3 pass sequence people were bitching about. Easy 6 left on the field.Coleman needs 1-2 plays a game designed to allow him to run by DBs with 1v1 coverage.
They’re trying. QB has to find him and Doss.Coleman could be great. Now use him.
LOTS of very young players playing a bunch. Our next starting center is ready. Our next starting guards are close. Need a couple of tackles to step up. D is in good shape with all the young talent and the Texas d line commit. LOVE what I see from the kiddies.Best thing happened besides great defense is Johnson and Coleman played significant rolls in helping Nebraska win our 4th game.
Unfortunately I missed the game, but holy smokes that was beautiful!
