Way OT: Pedal Steel Guitar

Here are TWO new lap-steel listings (5/5) on ShopGoodwill...

First is a Teisco with twin, 8-string necks. Teisco instruments were made in Japan, and the brand was at its peak in the 1960’s. Teisco offered both instruments and amps, at prices well-below Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, or Rickenbacker.

Auction currently ~ $40.00, closes 5/10.

Second is a Cozart twin-neck 6-string lap-steel in Madison, Wisconsin.
Cozart is known for budget instruments and sells them assembled, or in kits. You’d likely want to upgrade the hardware and electronics. I doubt you’ll find a better deal, if you’re able to do your own mods.

Hey thanks! That Teisco is certainly of interest. I had a cozart 12 string electric that was an absolute dog, but certainly a reasonable platform for modding.
