No. IMO it’s never a successful year if you’re not even bowl eligible. I’m happy for what I’ve seen out of the defense. But the offense was a train wreck all year and if you can’t even win six to get to a bowl … You miss out on so much practice and so much momentum with recruits going into the next year. Not successful year.

Didn’t watch. No offense

Answer: only if you like losing
This is the answer. The season sucked. So many missed opportunities.

I believe there is a lot to look forward to. But from w/l standpoint, the season was not a success. That can't be spun any other way.

Not at all.
Let's hope the coaches are taking classes on how to become better coaches. Maybe some football camps that train coaches on basic game management. Maybe get invited to be on the sidelines of successful football teams for the bowl season.

Hopefully, the team doesn't take any time off and continue to work. Team organized practices should be the norm from here till spring.

I don’t think there is anyway you can call this season a success, as we left so much on the table.

I also think the progress in many areas is undeniable. Both lines, defense, special teams. The offense was bad, but the freshman at RB and WR showed promise.

So I do not consider the season a success, but am optimistic about our future under Rhule.

I’d give rule a C-. not good enough to be happy but not bad enough to get rid of him right away. Now some of the assistance on the other hand need to be evaluated whether they were hurting or helping the team and take action accordingly.

Yes. He makes some good points but it doesn't excuse some of coaching mistakes that cost us easy wins. The coaches obviously can fool 18-22 year olds but they aren't fooling me. Do better and find ways to become more successful and then help these kids be successful on the football field. It's as simple as that.

LOL. “Did you watch the video?”

No, I watched the season. Don’t need a video recap to tell me. I’m sure it’s well put together fluff piece to help gaslight the season into a positive spin, with just enough criticism to keep it from being way too obvious.

The “Did you watch the video” responses kind make it seem like you have to have watched the video to have an opinion because well the person who created the video based off of their opinion, is truly the only opinion that matters so we MUST watch the video and agree with their views

I hate these polls because it sets up for failure.
Yes no or yet to be determined should be the poll.
If my ideas of the major turmoil that Riley and Frost left then what Rhule was able to do with all the injuries then yes it was a success.
The answer should be yet to be determined as once we see changes that obviously players are seeing then yes it was a success.
Time will tell and to keep arguing over any of this without being on the inside is absolutely ridiculous
Just my opinion

the video talks about how some are results oriented and some are process oriented.
We’ve had enough “process oriented” success the last 7 years. Really just want some results at this point. If I want to watch teams lose “but really try and get better every week” I’ll go watch little league baseball . 🤷‍♂️
