Seniors on current 2 deep rosters (non walk-on contributors):
14 - Oregon
13 - Iowa
12 - Wisconsin
12 - Northwestern
12 - Penn State
10 - Arkansas State
10 - Northern Illinois
10 - Purdue
10 - Rutgers
9 - Ohio State
6 - Illinois
4 - Nebraska (Pierson-El, Knevel*, Newby*, Kalu*) *out with injury.
Currently we have 1 uninjured contributing non-walkon senior.
Hopefully we all can agree that both regimes are responsible for the above. Last regime for a horrible 2013/14 class, and this regime for not using the Juco/Tsf market. Would love for someone to ask Riley/Devaney why they chose not to bridge the gap w/ Jucos/Tsfers; perplexing.
Bottom-line, until we get the above fixed, we are entering every game with a significant self-inflicted competitive disadvantage. (And not currently getting the warm/fuzzy that we are going to fill 2018 class)
I knew this disadvantge existed, but was alarmed to see how big it was.
