Nebraska currently sits at 22-14 (11-4) and RPI of 44 (per WN).

The site is projecting Nebraska to finish at 33-17 overall and 19-5 in the Big Ten and finish with an RPI of 28.

They are projecting Nebraska to sweep Illinois, take 2-of-3 from Northwestern and sweep Michigan. Also losing 2-of-3 to Arizona State.

Then doing something in that tournament environment.
Once those goals are met, we can worry about any bonus round.

At the beginning of this 2019 season...
if you were told that the Huskers, with a month to go,
would be competing for the top spot in the conference standings,
and sitting with an RPI of 40 or lower.
Would you have taken that???
Cuz I would have been Happy Dancing!!!
Everything is still on the table.
I'm not sticking in the fork and calling it done yet.

Honestly, all year long I thought we’d finish around 3rd or 4th in the conference and make a regional. It was what we do with that regional I have been patiently waiting for. Haha

I think he looks at RPI solely and dont pay attention to the rapid decline in offense that Ersdud teams are known for. A 5 seed going into conf tourney and an 0-2 performance will not get a regional.

They will lose at least 2 to each of Illinois, ASU and Michigan in my prediction. Then win the NW series.
