Wandale Robinson

Well the coaches from Kentucky already had an in home visit with him Sunday night. Frost is supposed to have an in home on Tuesday I believe IF the Kentucky coaches didn't convince Wandale to tell Frost to stay away. We'll see if the Frost visit actually happens or not tomorrow. You just know those Kentucky coaches were throwing everything they had including the kitchen $ink at Wandale in an effort to keep Frost and the threat he represents away.

Whether Frost actually is allowed to visit or not will indicate whether or not Wandale is still open to listening to other pitches.

Love that they're going for the visit. Kid is a playmaker and NU is still the same NU he wanted to commit to before $omething changed at the 11th hour before his announcement. These kids are 17 and 18, they don't always know what they want or why. There's no reason you don't take an in-home with him when you're done playing football already in November and have a blank check for jet fuel.

Remember a kid who was committed to Tennessee to play QB until Frost put the full court press on him late last year?

If you would have asked us as seniors in high school we'd probably have said we were gonna marry our HS girlfriend. Almost none of us did. His mind can change and if it does people on this board will be changing their tune in a HURRY about how much they wanted him all along.

His film is sick, I still want him and I don't care if it takes a "little extra" to make it happen. If you think those teams with elite classes aren't greasing some wheels you're living in dreamland.

I sure hope our coaches are reporting "violations" to the NCAA. There has to be a lot of SEC schools offering cash $ and kids may be asking our coaches how much $ NU is prepared to spend. Just a simple "oh really, who and how much are they proposing to give"?

There are schools(sort of) everywhere that are giving kids money. There was an article a few years ago that detailed how "bag men" work and it is nearly untraceable how they do it. I believe I have the article linked here.

Wow, crazy article right there, that expains how SEC recruits. Self regulatory policy doesn't work when your talking about the SEC and coaches like Urban Meyer.

I would still take Wandale if he wants to come, but I’m not holding my breath.
What’s odd to me is the fact we seem to be scrambling to get offensive players to come play for one of the most successful offensive coaches in the game (Frost). I know we’re only a few spots shy on offense, but I would think some higher rated kids would see the opportunity for playing time

I'm sorry that I'm laughing at this. What would suck even worse is if he cashed the check for his professional 'counseling' services.

Yep, that's the thing, the counselors are just trying to make a living and need you to come back often, they need you continually messed up and will milk you for what they can, even so called christian counselors.

$5K worth no less....yes, I PAID him to f%$k my wife as it turned out over a several month period.....I always felt like it was 2 against 1 when we met him, every time. I'd call my dad afterwards and say "Man this doesn't seem right, how can I be wrong about everything"...what's weird is my dad knew, when I called him to tell him the news once it broke I barely started talking and he finished the sentence. Pretty smart guy, he knew based on my descriptions of our counseling sessions...and I flat out missed it.

Yep. Christians are sinners too.

Having said that, I think it’s pretty stupid to lump Christian counselors in the category of wanting to keep people messed up so they can line their pocketbooks with money.

This world is messed up and more than enough people need help. Counselors aren’t perfect, but many (most) can be helpful and aren’t in it for the money.

Many of them are...it's a fair accusation. I was giving some thought to dating one recently, I shared my story with her and she told me flat out she's heard the same story many times. Screw 'em, I'll have zero use for them going forward, they are master manipulators IMO. If you find one you feel differently about, fine, have at it. I'm out on 'em, forever.

Sorry to hear that. That's just a bad deal all around. I hope she backs over him accidentally or something.

I would think there would be a way you could go after his license as a counselor, since he was doing this while you were both seeing him. The state doesn't like people banging clients while they are being paid for counseling them.

Sorry for your experience, that truly sucks. Didn’t mean to sound douchey.

And absolutely it happens. As with everything in this world, you have a lot of good counselors and a lot of bad counselors. I just took exception to the generalization made about counselors in general and Christian counselors in particular. I refer a lot of couples to Christian counselors and have never heard of funny business. It happens, but I haven’t seen it.

I may not be the most objective person on this subject :)

I know darn well there are some great ones out there who have helped many a people....I got caught up venting and it was me who came out douchey, not you.

Maybe it could end like Dean Pritchard

True story...you can't make this shit up...my daughter spent $4.99 for an online back ground check on him when the news broke, he had 16 pages (pages, NOT 16 convictions, 16 pages) of priors for practicing without a license...the entire story is weird beyond description....

Keep going. It's entertaining!!
Seriously though, sorry it happened to you. Youve obviously moved on. Good for you.

Personally, I would much rather be counseled by a pastor, if they had the time, I just don't trust professional for fee counselors. It's a massive gray area with a lot difference of opinions and it's hard to tell who may be right until it's too late.

Sounds like he f**ked you both but only she enjoyed it.

BUT ANYWAY, if you haven't watched Robinson's film do yourself a favor. He's elusive as hell. Reminds me of Amir how he's so low to the ground when he runs and hard to bring down, then he's fast and has great hands on top of it.

I hope Frost can change his mind. Personally I don't see it, but we need that kid and should do everything we can to get his services.

Wow... that guy’s a predator. I think it’s clear who the real douche is.

From what you’ve shared in recent months, sounds like you’re doing ok now. :)

Wait...there's more.....Turns out he had herpes....and needless to say it put a pretty big scare into her....I don't think she contracted it, but she obviously wouldn't tell me if she did, and she ended things the day she found out about that little tidbit, that had never come up before somehow......and I'm the one that informed her of that herpes thing, because his ex-wife showed up at my front door to tell me....so I got ahold of her mom and she got ahold of her....and yadda yadda yadda....

So am I understanding you took her back or you show her the front door?

Do people have a problem with handlers paying 5k-10k-15k to college football players? Scott Frost makes nearly $14000 a day. I have no problem with a kid getting a nice car out of the deal considering he helps provide thousands of jobs. If NU runs out of great football players a lot of people are out of money. I mean MLS soccer has a pay scale where the star might make 2 million and a bench player makes 30k a year. I see CF as a similar situation. A guy like AM made our team watchable, all the other guys had success because of that one guy...he isn't getting paid but he is the type of talent that deserves it. It doesn't even need to be legalized or standardized just make sure the program has no connections ot it. It is no different than a fan base selling out every game, some fan bases are better at providing for their players than others, and we become part of the winning product. Bama is very sophisticated in how it pays its players. For example, many boosters have high positions in casinos, and they will provide "full" electronic cards to the kids to cash out at casinos. Kid goes in to gamble, and walks out a winner.

So I moved back to the Midwest out of college, horrible career decision on my part in hindsight, anyways I bring this witch back from Hawaii, kick her to the curb, she gets herpes and goes buck wild, now she has like 6 or 7 kids with a devout Catholic and in hindsight, I am sitting pretty.

She was a great piece of tail though, I'll give her that...

Moral of the story. People get what they deserve, when they decide to stick it out with idiots.
