Is any else concerned that there are not some big bodies walking on this year? I do like the skilled players that are walking on, they can all play but I like to see some beef on both sides of the ball walk on too

I am not concerned. At least half of the walk-ons are 6-4 and over 190lbs, if memory serves. To me, that can translate into 30-50lbs of "good" added weight over the next two or three years if their position dictates that. I think the nine preferred walk-ons are a very athletic group and a majority will mature into contributors before they graduate. Optimistic Kool-Aid for breakfast!

I was slightly off. I should have said 6' 2" instead of 6'4"!

Ty Chaffin, WR, 6-5, 200, Burwell

Creighton Hamik, LB, 6-3, 210, Kearney Catholic

Tanner Hass, ATH, 6-0, 195, West Point GACC

Branden Hohenstein, TE, 6-4, 205, Sioux City Heelan

Todd Honas, WR, 5-11, 200, Aurora

Tavlin Hunt, LB, 6-0, 215, Lincoln North Star

Grant Jordan, FB, 6-1, 205, Omaha Westside

Spencer Jordan, LB, 6-2, 215, Omaha Westside

Eli Sullivan, DB, 6-2, 190, Longmont (Colorado)

They can all play I think for sure. Just would have liked to see some OL and DL in the mix. I'm happy for the young men coming, just of the belief that the lines start it all.

Still thinking the class is very good just being a bit greed

I won't be surprised if at least one of the TEs we recruited end up sliding inside to play OT within 3 years. There are some big boys in that group. Cav has also said that Raridon could play OT.

I would have liked to see a walk on for the OL, but I'm not too sad about it. Would have been nice to get Rush from Aurora. He's going to Wyoming on scholarship so I can't blame the kid at all.

With the walk ons this year I'm intrigued to see how the careers of Chaffin from Burwell, Haas from West Point and Hohenstien from Jackson, NE (Played at Bishop Heelan.) pan out.
