This is the kind of snow I grew up with down the road apiece in Whitefish:
Had to manually shovel the area for the Subaru mostly to delineate the edge of where to plow for the guy who's coming Friday to plow.
Sloppy mess getting in and out. Logan repeatedly drove the ford F-250 back and forth and back & forth and then did the same with the Subaru outback wagon so I could get out and go to work. I can't get anyone in to plow until Friday.
That's a car under that mound of snow.
Notice how badly this porch covers 2x4 supports are sagging -- YIKES!!.
Also the 2x6 out front that the 2x4's rest on is sagging REALLY badly. I've got a friend coming later today to help get that snow load off.
This thing will need to get seriously reinforced this summer.
Blake running back to me down the pathway which leads to the shelter logic. The ground cover is a little better than 3' and it all came in just the past 2-3 days.
My friend Jim was amazed at how badly this porch cover was sagging. He was also scratching his head about the construction.
LOTS of frickn' ice on the back/west side of the house.
The front porch with the snow load removed from the cover and the stairway dug out
Jim barely got done what he could do and left about 15 minutes ago and here comes MORE SNOW !!!
I can barely get out of the driveway as it is and can't get anyone in to plow until friday. If it snows all night I won't be able to get out to get to work in the early morning.
