Videos of Tommy at practice today

Granted that it isn't full speed, but his mobility doesn't look limited in that first video.

From those videos, I bet TA starts. Can he finish the game? Who knows. But he looks better than I thought he would. No noticeable limp.

I had a hammy pull in HS track. You feel fine walking, jogging, but you don't know how it's gonna react till you got full speed.

And if our line breaks down which it has plenty this season, Tommie will have to bail like usual that is when we will find out how is hammy truly is.

Yah very deliberate movements but slow.

He might play but we may see a healthy dose of Fyfe as he exerts himself

First tweet deleted. Robin may have over stepped his privilege since that video had a couple plays in it.

Yep, that's my experience as well. Won't know until Friday pre-game. Another thing I found out - If you come back too soon and aggravate a hammy, expect at least double the time for rehab the second go-around.

That is ok and worth the risk. Because if Wisky beats Minny as expected, Tommy has until the bowl game is to recover

Anyone making conclusions from those small clips is dreaming. He never took a full stride in any of hem. good grief. No running full speed, no cutting, basically just standing here. The guys who have experienced the pulls know what they are talking about.

If he injures it even worse which is likely, there is a good chance he doesnt play in a bowl game. it is a roll of the dice what to do but the thought he can further damage something that is already damaged, the recovery time extends.

Sigh. Yep. I hate to admit it, but I doubt Tommy plays Friday

It may feel fine jogging on it or just throwing, but when he tries to push it, that is when he could undo any healing that he has done and possibly injure it worse. It wouldn't surprise me if he tries to go. He's a tough SOB. But reinjuring it is a real possibility, especially on a cold day. What also scares me with playing Fyfe is ball security. I assume he will have some sort of brace or pad on it and it may be tough for him to hold onto the ball on handoffs, zone reads, play action fakes, etc.

In those clips, he didn't seem to be stepping into his throws as much as he was stepping over or not even stepping at all.

Without knowing the severity of the pull, it's tough to say. I've pulled one, not that severe though and was back out playing after a full week of using Tiger Balm. A total of 17 little TB jars.

I don't know about you, or anyone else, but I find it hard to believe anyone but maybe one or two on here has had access to treatment like Tommy has. I don't gamble but I'd bet a cup of coffee that Tommy gives it a shot Friday. We'll find out in 60 or so hours if he's good to go.

I'm of the mind that Tommy has his own little Willis Reed moment, but miracle treatments aside, I have my doubts about how long he can go. He's going to have to exert himself at some point, at least to escape the rush, and he may not get more than a couple decent sprints out of that hammy before its too much.

Love to see the kid play the whole game though.

When I watched it, it looks like Fyfe struggled to really get the snap... He was very cautious when receiving it from the center. If he plays, every snap would have to be out of the shotgun, and I'm guessing he would only be comfortable handing off with his right hand which makes it tough to do if the RB is on his right side. I'm sure he is sore as he only had surgery two days before this practice, and a shot could help with the soreness but man that would be tough to play with pin in your wrist because you know he's going to take a shot on it and fall on it during the game. I don't see him never going down if he plays. I just hope Darlington is ready to roll cause I think he will be needed Friday.

In Zack We Trust. ;)

Rolling with the baling wire and duct tape for sure.

When people say "pull" it really means torn. How much is torn is how severe its rating. Even if its just slightly torn, he wont be any good to the offense. He wont be able to get anything on his throws and yes, he will be a "statue" and wont be able to run. He looks gimpy to me in the videos. I wish he could play. But speaking from experience like otheres already stated, full speed is another story. "They" say once youre already healed 100%, wait another week. It was true in my case. I rehabed 6 week and didnt do the extra week. I injured it again. I felt 100% fine, but once i went full throttle, POP, went down like a sack of bricks. Had to start all over. Our O line needs to get some get some dumptruck nuts and take over the game. Then we can put anyone back there and squeak out a win.
