Ohio St 5/1
Oklahoma 7/1
Wisconsin 35/1

Penn St 40/1
Iowa St 40/1
Michigan 50/1
Ioway 100/1
Nebraska 100/1
Michigan State 100/1
Indiana 100/1

Purdue 150/1
Minnesota 200/1
Illinois 200/1

All other teams are 250/1 or higher..Looking at this I wonder why Northwestern isn’t higher and Michigan State is at 100/1... Seems like NW should be where Sparty is..

I love when this comes out.
I'm surprised we're as high as we are

Iowa State 40/1? Wow, how the mighty have fallen.

I would have anticipated that Indiana and Ioway would have higher odds than Nebraska, but certainly I wouldn’t have thought MSU having the same odds with NU and not NW..

If you're a Big Ten team, and you're not named Ohio State, your odds might as well be 7000/1.

Gives me a little hope when I see people from OUTSIDE our world saying we're in the same league as some of our peers.

if you consider yourself a blue blood - Indiana, Mich State and Iowa should never be mentioned as peers

the frost/Moos plan is working brilliantly when fans start using the likes of Iowa,Michigan st etc for comparison rather than other blue bloods

Interesting that Minnesota is so low, lower than Purdue who I expect to win 4-5 games anyway.

Also interesting is that Michigan is at 50/1. A lot of people are looking right past those guys whereas 40/1 ISU is a preseason darling. I don't think either is a realistic championship contender, but I'm still glad Michigan draws Wisconsin the week prior to coming to Lincoln.

Casino owners must be looking to build another casino and they can always count on money from Nebraska fans. Winking

Illinois does this, too, for 'amateur' athletics

it's so incredibly stupid
I think Vegas still does it, don't they? I thought the UNLV lines were off in Vegas, I could be wrong.

It is so stupid and it is not about the "pressure" they just don't want to come out and say "Yeah, it might make it easy for players on the team to win money"

I don’t even think it’s that. It’s morally superior posturing by the power hungry morons in charge.

Alabama makes most teams longshots.

were these odds calculated before or after the program released the results of testing?
Do these odds makers realize how many huskers have earned their presidential physical fitness patches this offseason?

And, Michigan State actually have made the College Football Playoff, since 2014. One of the very few, outside Ohio State in Big Ten.

yes ... if I recall correctly a mike riley led Neb team took that MSU team behind the woodshed and beat them within an inch of their lives. MSU limped into the playoffs still badly bruised from that beating and couldn’t recover to compete against Alabama
