Absolutely heartbreaking.
Even if there are no guns in your house and you think your children will never ever be around them, teach them the rules of firearm safety. Nothing makes me more sick than shit like this that is completely preventable.
And I believe his mom died 4 months ago with stage 4 bone and lung cancer. Unreal.
That can change how a son see’s the next day. Prayers for the family and friends. This is terrible thing to have to deal with.

Damn this has been a tough year for so many people. Over the years I've known more than a few young men who have died over the holidays while "cleaning their gun". It's always just a coincidence that they were having financial or some relationship problems whether it's a breakup or the loss of a loved one.The CDC changed pretty quickly their recommendations on in person school when the suicide and overdose numbers started rolling in for young people this year.
Terrible tragedy - I don't know the details, but it is so sad
