Was offered Aaron Rodgers in exchange for Tom Brady...you take that deal?

Plus for Rodgers: Best player in the game, consistent, rushing yards
Negative for Rodgers: Still has bye week

Plus for Brady: on a FU NFL tour with Gronk, consistent, already had bye
Negative for Brady: just lost starting LT for the season

What do I do Husker Nation?!?!?!

You can't lose either way. Both will put up crazy fantasy points. But I would say no.

I would keep brady he doesn't hold the ball long enough for protection to matter as much as Rodgers. Plus when it gets crappy in new England they still throw it 50 times a game.

I'd say no as well. Especially with the colts coming up this weekend. Brady could put up 60 pts on these guys for crying about deflate-gate.

Bye week is a big issue, unfortunately. Plus, with Lafell coming back, things are going to open up. He's not great in and of himself, but he'll draw attention away from Edelman and Gronk. Plus, the Patriot run game right now > than the Packer run game, which also softens a defense. If Jordy was still around, no question get Rodgers. But Brady, having already been on his bye, probably is the better option right now. More weapons.

I'd stick with who you have, but I think Brady will end up the better overall stat producer by season end in standard leagues. But I think it also depends when your playoffs start. You're in a pickle because both qbs would already have gained probably home field and a bye, so they may not be willing to throw a ton late in the year . Aaron would be the best bet to throw late in the season as opposed to Brady simply by the Patriot offensive design.

I'd be more concerned with who your backup is come play off time, depending on when they begin for you and your league.

this league doesn't require us to roster 2 QBs so right now I'm rolling with just Brady...will probably roster a QB for the playoffs (4-1 right now)...best available on the waivers are probably Bortles & McCown

Bortles leaves less to be desired but will eventually make an impact. McCowan is the sure bet due to his job situation and will put up "good" numbers. However... It depends on where the Browns and Jags are come playoff call. I'd lean towards Bortles because they'll most likely always be behind and will have to throw a ton. Even if they are out of the picture, they'll still see what he gots and there's no one behind him. I also like his receivers.

McCowan may now be playing for his job, but come playoff call he may try to push a bit too hard to save his job for next year, resulting in more negative than good. He has Manziel bitting at the nips. Will motivate him but the WRs and RB in company can only sustain for so long.

Brady. Not much of a rushing game with Dion Lewis and Blount in NE. Patriots are going to live and die by Brady this year.

Rogers is typically the higher scorer by a bit. Both take good care of the football. Better question is how favorable are their matchups the rest of the way?
