Nebraska had the previous high this spring with nearly 77,000 fans last Saturday. Nebraska charged $10 per ticket, while Ohio State charged $5. In a poll last week asking if Ohio State could beat Nebraska this year, nearly 73 percent of voters said yes. They were right.

I would have been surprised if they didn't beat us in spring game attendance. Coming off of a national championship and a bigger potential audience to draw from? Seems pretty obvious.

How many of these games charged admission and had assigned seating. Spring game attendance without assigned seating quite often has one butt taking up two seats. Estimated attendance at a spring game is generally an optimistic guess.
