My older brother had been sick this past week. On Saturday he passed out in the bathroom. He was transported to the hospital where it was discoverd he had a blood glucose level of 1056 normal is 60. He has been diabetic for some time and didn't even know about it.
This morning around 3:30am his heart stopped. The doctors got him back, but now his kidneys are not producing enough urine to get the acid out of his blood stream.
They are now going to do dialysis to try and rid the acid from his body.
Please RSS pray for my brother.
**Update**
My brothers blood glucose is down to 128 now. His blood pressure is going better, and his breathing rate is way better then it was.
He will stay on the dialysis machine until tomorrow around noon or 1. Then they will see if his kidneys can support themselves.
So a little victory right now. Hope to put multiple little victories together to come out of this and win this battle.

Today was a really good day. He opened his eyes and has motor function in all limbs. He still has problems seeing out of his left eye. We are praying it is just the brain trying to catch up after being under so long and not a mini stroke from when he coded.
He is also peeing more, but he still has lots of fluid build up throughout his body. Gain 44lbs in fluid. They may do dialysis again tomorrow to try and rid some fluid. They also used a needle today to remove some fluid off his lungs and test it for any infection.
He can't talk very well yet, but he was being his funny smartass self today and giving us all sh!t.
So overall today was a very good day and a victory. We know not all days ahead will be like this, but we really enjoyed today and great to have him looking and feeling a little bit better. Long road ahead so please keep the prayers coming.
