The University of Nebraska-Lincoln announced Wednesday that it will require face coverings indoors, including at University events, until further notice. This University policy will include all Husker indoor athletic contests at Pinnacle Bank Arena, the Bob Devaney Sports Center, including the arena, indoor track and pool areas, and the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center.
Husker fans at all of these venues will be asked to wear a face covering (covering both the nose and mouth) when inside the venue. The University mask policy is effective immediately, with the first home events under the policy being Nebraska’s home wrestling match on Friday vs. Purdue (Devaney Center), the Sunday women’s basketball game vs. Iowa (PBA) and Tuesday night’s men’s basketball game vs. Illinois (PBA).
Husker fans are asked to be responsible and respectful of the University mask policy, and do their part to assist in keeping our community safe.
