The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has submitted paperwork to host the NCAA Division Hockey Frozen Four at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha sometime between 2019 and 2022. Nebraska has also submitted bids to host Division I volleyball and wrestling championships between the 2018-19 and 2021-22 seasons. Those bids are also for use of the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.
The Frozen Four could not take place at the CenturyLink in the past because it was the home facility of the UNO Mavericks. Since the Mavs are no longer a tenant, the facility is eligible to host the championships.
