http://coachingsearch.com/article?a...w-undrafted-underclassmen-to-return-to-school
It was linked in the twiiter thread but I didnt want to hijack.
I like this idea but might even like to open it to all underclassmen. We could see more srs taken and because jr's would have negotiating power to return to school. So if a jr vs a sr the sr might get the nod. I am sure the first 1-2 rounds wont make a difference. However, i would think a player like collins or vv might go higher in order to ensure they sign or go undrafted because the risk of losing that pick. I feel it is fair because a career could be derailed so easily like jaylon Smith's it is only fair to allow the kids to submit their names. It could be mutually beneficial. For the player and a school.
However, the inverse side a sr. might be passed over in the first 2 rounds for a jr. I feel like some of it will balance out. I just thought it was interesting and wanted to know what other people might think.
