I said a couple months ago that I love watching Conor McGregor fight and I root for him every time he fights, but he would get killed by most of the best 155 pound fighters. Well I eat crow. He just picked apart Eddie Alvarez with relative ease. That was barely a fight. Conor's left is a sniper rifle. It hits every time he throws it.
On another note, I have never been a Stephen Wonderboy Thompson fan. That dude showed a ton of heart tonight. He lost, but should have lost spectacularly in the 4th round verses Woodley. He ate some bombs and then somehow survived a deep choke, to come back and beat the hell out of Woodley by the end of the round. That 4th round is why UFC fans keep tuning in. That was the best round this year. Great night of fights.
