These seasons of playing our last football game in November have GOT to stop!
We've been screwed out of getting to see the Huskers play one or 2 additional games every year.

The worst months of the year take place after march madness is over.
Plus the loss of all the practices the bowl teams got that we didn’t.

And 3/17 is St, Paddy's day and day two of the first round of March Madness..
I am not a Jays fan and their fans are the worst (except when they are just drinking) but if the jays play on that Friday the Omaha bars are gonna be a blast.

Interesting parallel. Sally was sweet on Linus and had blind faith in him when he convinced her that instead of trick or treating, she should sit in the pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin to shower her with gifts. When it didn't happen she felt angry, hurt, and betrayed.
Many NU fans were sweet on FHCSF and had blind faith that he was a football coach. We waited for the division titles, conference titles, bowls, etc., which never came. When it didn't happen we felt angry, hurt and betrayed.
Anyone saying that they were not excited when Frost was named HC is a ****in liar!!!!
What's going to be the value of bowl games once we get to a twelve team playoff? If you're not in the playoffs, who wants to go the Memphis?
Oh no. I told you all but nobody listened. You like three and four win season do ya? No, you had to go against my wishes and hire a one season wonder.
Ok, I am lying. I was pretty excited and sure that he would bring us back to glory. Felt the same way towards Pelini.
Riley? Stunned silence. I remember being at work and after several attempts of asking co-workers if they knew who he was I was shocked they didn't either. Finally, someone spoke up as they had a habit of watching the late Saturday night Pac-10 games and remembered his name.
It's one thing to hire a coach with high hopes of success and be wrong but to have a new coach with no realistic chance of making it was its own kind of awful.
And then the false conjecture of stating he just needed more support and he'd be great. But the worst was when local media would have a televised interview of the athletic director and it obvious he was not only incompatible for the job but detached from the programs zest for success and the business of college football. I doubt any competent coaching search was even started. We've had some misses but that was in another category.
Not much difference now.. mostly the top 12 teams are playing in the NY6 bowls anyhow…

Cotton
Fiesta
Peach
Tampa, Orlando, Las Vegas, San Antonio,San Antonio, Houston, etc are all good sites for bowl travel, other bowls will do just fine so will just have better attendance than others..
