TWC Modem Recommendation

I have Time Warner Cable for internet but am having some issues with the leased modem and router combo. Anyone buy there own? If so what kind do you recommend? I have 50/5 mgs for speed and I need a router that I can use the WiFi in my yard and that is a 10,000 sq ft lot.
